Mr. Rufener's experience encompasses Storm Water Management including hydraulic and hydrologic modeling, erosion control and storm water quality; Water and Wastewater Infrastructure including sanitary sewer collection systems, water distribution systems, water and wastewater treatment plant rehabilitation and inflow and infiltration reduction; Roadway design and Construction Administration/Observation. By taking projects from preliminary design through construction, Mr. Rufener has gained broad knowledge of the entire design and construction process. Mr. Rufener's responsibilities at KEM include: Oversight of the General Civil Services Section of KEM and Project Management. This role involves team member and sub consultant oversight, budget and schedule development, client coordination, and development of all project phases including, project contracts, preliminary design, construction plan preparation, cost estimates, project coordination and construction administration/observation.
