Land Development Projects
KEM provided the entire package of civil engineering services including: topographic and boundary survey, site plans, grading plans, utility design, roadway design, storm water management and erosion control for this 16 acre College of Nursing Campus in Mansfield, Ohio.
A major part of this project involved storm water management. This included storm sewer design for the wrap around drive, parking areas and site. An existing detention basin west of the site was retrofitted to incorporate additional impervious area and water quality concerns. A second detention basin was added on the east side of the site which incorporates an aesthetic pond feature at the main crossroads of the facility.

Wiles Road Estates is a low density single family residential subdivision in Richland County, Ohio which includes 19 lots ranging in size from two to four acres. KEM was responsible for initial topographic survey, lot layout, grading plans, and roadway design. KEM also prepared the storm water management plan which incorporated a retention pond to provide detention and aesthetic appeal.
Beach Town Condos is a multi-family residential development located on the shores of Lake Erie at Gem Beach, Ohio. The development includes four buildings comprising 52 total dwelling units. KEM was responsible for initial topographic survey, grading plans, utility plans and storm water management/erosion control.
Woodside Block "J" and Block "K" are single family residential subdivisions in Lexington, Ohio which consist of 19 and 24 lots. KEM was responsible for initial topographic survey, lot layout, grading plans, roadway, sewer and water main design. KEM also prepared the storm water management/erosion & sediment control plans, final plat and coordinated plan approvals with the Village of Lexington and the Ohio EPA.
Columbia Reserve Subdivision is a Residential Planned Development, on approximately 57 acres of land located in Columbia Township, Lorain County, Ohio which consists of 80 Life Style Units, 27 Premier Units, 27 Executive Units, and 10 acres of Common Area. KEM was responsible for the initial topographic survey, site development, construction plans, roadways, sewer, water main design, and coordination with governing agencies and permitting.
