Wedgewood Improvements

KEM provided construction administration for this stormwater improvement project, which serves approximately 270 homes in the Imperial Estates Subdivision in Mifflin Township, Richland County, Ohio. Work included upgrades to an existing undersized storm sewer system and renovation of an abandoned lagoon to provide flood control. New storm sewer was constructed to handle a number of areas within the subdivision with flooding problems. The existing system was left in place as much as possible and routed to the new infrastructure. The new system included 8,450 feet of 8” to 60” storm sewer, 102 catch basins, 446 feet of ditch re-grading, and conversion of an existing lagoon to a detention facility.
