KEM provided construction administration and inspection services for a water main replacement along State Route 97, School Street, and State Route 13 in the Village of Bellville, Ohio. During construction water service was maintained for all residents, businesses, and the Bellville Elementary School with minimal disruption. Traffic was maintained at all times on the major arterial roads. Additional coordination was required during the restoration of pavement and the installation of new sidewalks and drive aprons. KEM worked with the contractor and the Village Water Department to coordinate and minimize any shutdowns while side street connections were made. During construction, it was determined that the Village could eliminate an altitude valve, thereby, saving significant funds.
