City of Mansfield Utilities GIS

KEM conducted in-depth interviews with individual city department staff to assess existing GIS spatial data uses and existing system configuration and to identify department business practices that could benefit from GIS expansion. The interview process was guided by a GIS needs assessment interview manual developed specifically for the city. Based on the interviews, a comprehensive needs assessment report was produced for the city, outlining system needs, GIS benefits for each department, GIS organization management models, and staffing and training.
