KEM designed the Middle Bellville Road Improvements for the City of Mansfield. This project had many significant safety improvements, including sight distance improvements, intersection improvements, signal upgrades, and a modern roundabout at Straub Road. The project also included approximately 8,365 feet of 12″-66″ storm sewer with 113 storm structures providing inline quantity control and two manufactured water quality structures. The recently constructed roundabout is the first in Richland County history and first of its type in ODOT District 3. Aesthetics were taken into account during design and include stamped concrete, infield landscaping, and green space in the outside quadrants.
