Richland Co – State Route 39

KEM recently completed roadway design for a S.R. 39 rehabilitation project in the City of Shelby. This was an ODOT LPA project that included the replacement of all curbs, sidewalks, curb ramps, and drive aprons for over 1.04 miles of road. The existing asphalt pavement will be rehabilitated with pavement repairs, pavement planning, and 3” of asphalt resurfacing. Three traffic signals will be upgraded with mast arms, video detection, interconnect, and preemption. All work will be completed within existing right-of-way. KEM also coordinated utility relocation and environmental document preparation.
