Jackie’s Famous Chocolate Chip Cookies *Corrected*

If you followed this recipe from our last newsletter and wondered why those chocolate chip cookies were not the fan favorite you were promised, fear not! It was not your baking skills but rather a mishap in the recipe. Here is the corrected recipe with directions to ensure that they are baked to perfection each and every time.

2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 cup (2 sticks) softened butter
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 large box instant vanilla pudding
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 large eggs
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, sugar, and vanilla until creamy. Add vanilla pudding mix and eggs. Mix until all combined. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Drop by tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 9-11 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove to wire racks to cool.

*This dough will be very stiff, Jackie uses a medium ice cream scoop to make her cookies.
