Employee Spotlight – Brad Rice
This quarter’s employee spotlight goes to Brad Rice! Brad joined us 3 years ago as a project inspector. Along with his focused work ethic, Brad brings warm energy to every job site and work function. Brad’s motivation to get up and go to work every day is fueled by his family. When asked what his favorite project to work on has been, Brad said he enjoyed the Ontario waterline project most because the quality of people matched the high quality of work done.
Brad described KEM as a terrific place to work, and said the people are his favorite part of the job. Brad is a huge fan of the tv series “The Office” and can watch for hours… “that’s what she said”. Something most people don’t know about Brad and that serves as a testament to his character is that he quite literally would not hurt a bug. He said “I would never kill or intentionally step on ants. They always seem like they’re on a mission.” He’s even passed this on to his granddaughter, teaching them not to bother the defenseless creatures as they work. They know the deal.
Whether in the field, the office or on the golf course, Brad’s infectious smile brings light to everyone around him! Brad has been a great addition to the team, we appreciate all his hard work, it wouldn’t be the same without him! In the spirit of giving thanks, we want to express our immense gratitude to Brad and all of our hardworking employees that allow us to be the engineering firm that we are today!
