City of Shelby – West Main & South Long Sewer & Watermain Replacement Project

Project Description: The City of Shelby – West Main & South Long Sewer & Watermain Replacement Project consists of 490-ft of 8” ductile iron watermain, 443-ft of storm sewer (8” to 12”), 851-ft of 8” sanitary sewer, and other miscellaneous work items related to the project. The project is located on West Main Street and South Long Street within the City of Shelby.  The estimated cost of the project is $517,000.

Sealed bids will be received by the Director of Public Service of the City of Shelby, Ohio at the office of the Director of Finance and Public Records, Shelby City Hall, 43 West Main Street, Shelby, Ohio 44875, until Friday, June 12, 2026, 10:00:00 AM, local time.

In order to be a plan holder of record and eligible to submit a bid, bidders will be required to purchase and download an electronic set of plans and bid documents via the KEM website by visiting kemccartney.com/project-bids/. All documents become the property of the prospective bidder, with no portion of the payment being refunded.
